Position Description
Now Hiring for these Shifts: All shifts open. Mornings, Afternoons, Evenings, Days, Swing, Overnights. Length of shift may be anywhere from 1 hour to 12 hours.
WORK 1-on-1 WITH VERY SPECIAL CLIENTS. We are looking for qaualified CNA's with Medication Aide license. The Medication Aide will provide medication administration to Comfort Keepers clients according to the Care Plan.

Job requirements include being 21 years of age or older, having your own safe, reliable automobile, a working phone, a valid drivers license and automobile insurance. Be genuinely concerned about helping people. High standards of honesty and integrity. You must be able to pass background checks. Permission to submit to random drug and alcohol testing. You must be physically able to move, lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
We are looking for people who can thrive in a home setting with minimal direct supervision. You will be assisting clients in activities of daily living by providing personal cares including but not limited to: bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, oral hygiene, ambulation and transfers. You will also assist with light housekeeping, meal planning and preparation, grocery shopping and other errands.

High school diploma or GED preferred. Must have a current State of Nebraska Medication Aide 40 hour/Medication Aide License. Applicant must be bondable and meet or exceed minimum qualifications for each of the following background checks: Criminal Background Investigation, Motor Vehicle Driving Record, Professional and Personal Reference Checks, and give permission to submit to random drug and alcohol testing. Must have reliable transportation and fulfill assignments with reliability and punctuality. Must have a valid driver’s license and automobile insurance.
Must satisfactorily complete Comfort Keepers training and orientation program. Must accept responsibility for learning and adhering to Comfort Keepers policies and procedures, be able to function in the home setting with minimal direct supervision.
Must be competency tested by Comfort Keepers.
