Respiratory Therapy Assistant - Lincoln (24 hrs, 3-11pm)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible to assist RT staff as assigned to ensure quality service delivery.
• Collaborates with licensed respiratory personnel in the areas of stocking, cleaning, sterilization and maintenance of respiratory therapy supplies and equipment.
• Prepare and maintain ventilators and other RT equipment for patient use
• Tear down RT equipment upon patient discharge and deliver to CS for processing
• Monitor RT equipment and supplies in RT storage areas
• Stocking RT supplies in patient rooms
• Check crash carts and perform crash cart QA
• Clean and process bronchoscopes
• Assist RT staff as assigned
• Assist with QA and infection prevention initiatives as assigned
• Perform O2 tank rounds
• Cleaning of the environment and equipment
• Reordering, stocking and processing of equipment and supplies as needed.
  QUALIFICATIONS:
• High school diploma or equivalency required.
• Current progress toward a degree in Respiratory Therapy or applicable health care experience preferred.
