SOFTWARE ENGINEER

PHYSICIANS MUTUAL INSURANCE COMPANY

DUTIES:Â Design, code, test, debug, and document customizations to moderate and complex vendor applications.Â Use SQL, SQL Server, and specific vendor software features and capabilities.Â Develop or assist users and analysts with design specifications.Â Perform application unit tests and assist in integration and system testing of application changes. Validate test inputs and outputs and production jobs. Determine and correct errors in existing applications.

EDUCATION:Â Bachelorâ??s degree in Computer Science or related field.

EXPERIENCE: Minimum of two (2) years programming experience using SQL Server, DB2, Structured Query Language, Java, or .NET languages.Â Knowledge of business workflow, Role Based Access Control (RBAC), and application security features. Knowledge of various SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) processes from Waterfall to Agile.
