Provide direct, 1:1, assessment, treatment, and crisis intervention supports (e.g., behavioral therapy services) to children and adolescents diagnosed with severe behavioral disorders. Provide first level of supervision to Associate Behavior Technicians and Registered Behavior Technicians and may assist in training and provide oversight in the progress of sessions. This position will lead day-to-day functions of assigned cases and provide first level drafts of patient related documentation and communications, under the supervision of a BCBA or BCBA-D.
All behavioral therapy strategies and intervention components will occur through the implementation of a treatment plan that is prepared and directed by a BCBA or BCBA-D/Licensed Psychologist.
* This position will regularly encounter potentially moderate- to high-risk care situations that could result in bodily harm to the employee. These situations may include, but are not limited to, providing behavioral therapy in situations where the patients display property destruction, emotional outbursts, verbal insults, and physical aggression. This position will receive specialized behavior management training.
