Unit Information:

Level III Trauma Center, Level I Perinatal Center

6 LDR beds, 6 Postpartum beds

Common Births: 60-80/month,
Nurse to Patient Ratio: 1:1-2 (Labor), 1:3-4 (Mother-baby couples)

Equipment: Cerner PowerChart for documentation, RxStation for meds

Additional Info:

May float to sister unit for NAS babies or mother-baby couples

Location: 1 mile from Delaware Bay Beaches, 6 miles from ocean beaches, and under 3 hours from Philadelphia, Baltimore, and Washington DC

Orientation: 16 hours
