Job Description

Our Cardiac Medical Unit is a 42-bed unit concentrating on Cardiac Telemetry. Nurses in this area have a 1:6 ratio and provide unparalleled care to predominately cardiac patients requiring treatment for chest pain, shortness of breath, palpitations, or other various cardiac arrhythmias. In addition, this unit will further provide care to a variety of medical patients with pneumonia, GI issues, COPD, diabetes, and occasional stroke, as well as surgical patients. Our dedicated team of nursing and ancillary staff provides patient-centered care to support each specialized patient's recovery with the goal of reaching optimal patient outcomes for all.

Requirements/Details:

1YR+ Exp Working in Specialty

1YR+ Exp Working Only in Acute Care Setting

ACTIVE BLS (AHA or ARC) (HWS Can Provide ARC for free)

Float Cost Center: Must be willing to float to units/hospitals

EMR: Meditech

Holidays as required by facility

Every other weekend required
