Travel Nurse RN - OR - Operating Room - $2,835 per week

PS Companies is seeking an experienced OR RN for an opening based in Ironwood, MI. This is a full time 13 week travel contract position

Shift Requirements: 4-10hr days. Variable start times, but normally . May have earlier start time of 0630, or potentially later of 0800 or 0900 dependent on cases.

On Call/Call-Back: 1-2x per week from end of shift to 0700 the next day.

Weekend/Holiday: occasional weekend call - Friday, Saturday and Sun through 0700 on Monday. No holiday shifts, but holiday call is required.

Required skills: ortho and general cases on call. Ortho- Total knee, knee arthroscopy, open rotator cuff repair, carpal tunnel release and tendon repair, occasional ORIFs; General- lap appy, lap chole, lap hernia, lap hiatal hernia repair, specialty foregut procedures (Bravo, Stretta, Barrx, EndoFLIP, EsoFLIP, TIF), EGD/ Colonoscopy, Lesion removals, lumpectomy, hemorrhoidectomy; podiatry- bunionectomy, hammer toe corrections.

Requirements include, but are not limited to:
Active MI License.
2 years of OR experience
Pre/post op experience
PACU experience preferred
BLS (AHA) Certification
ACLS (AHA) Certification
Ability to clear a drug screen/background check.
