Travel Nurse RN - CVOR - $3,500 per week

Care Career is seeking a travel nurse RN CVOR for a travel nursing job in Des Moines, Iowa.

Discipline: Registered Nurse - OR (Scrub/Circulate)
Specialty: Multispecialty OR with Cardiac/Vascular Emphasis
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: Day Shift, 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday (4 10 hr shifts = 40 hrs/week)
Call Requirements: Up to 2 overnights per week and 4 weekends per 13-week contract (Weekend call covers Fri end-of-shift to Mon 6:30 AM)
EMR: EPIC
Floating Across Hospitals: Yes - OR experience across multiple campuses required
Patient Types: Primarily cardiac with additional cases including neuro, ortho-trauma, robotics, gyn, uro, general, pediatrics, transplants
OR Setup: 16 OR suites running 12-14 rooms routinely; Level I trauma center
Settings: Scrub or Circulate both preferred

Submission Requirements:

• 3+ years current OR experience in a hospital/medical center (Outpatient OR does not substitute)
• Strong cardiac, vascular, thoracic proficiency required
• Level I trauma experience required
• Experience in cases outside CVOR/Cardiac (neuro, ortho/trauma, general, gyn, pediatrics)
• Travel contract completed within the past 12 months (no first-time travelers)
• Scrub experience needed
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS
• State License: Iowa/Compact
• Submit: Resume/work history, Skills checklist (within 1 year), License verification, Certification copies, One supervisory performance evaluation/reference from within the last 2 years, Proof of taxable address
